NAVRUN MAY 09
|
Latest
B.R.O News |
22.6.09 - Back
at the end of MAY we competed in another NAVRUN event. This events team
consisted of 2 vehicles, the Disco and Dan's Patrol. We
ended up placing
5th for the weekend, which was a great effort due to some new team
members and also some mechanical drama's on the
Sunday. Conditions were
tough, with it being very wet and muddy, but heaps of fun. So
thanks to Simon, Jordan, Ben, Reubs, and Rob for
there great
effort, next time we will be back on the podium for sure!!
27.4.09 - Time
for an update, a high country trip was had by us and some of our good
mates from Geelong way. We checked out some good tracks
and camping
spots from Walhalla through to Dargo. A photo album will be up
soon, but for now here
is a link to some pics and music
composed by one
of the Geelong crew. Enjoy. Also
we have a Navrun coming up, first one for 2009. Team B.R.O will have a
good crack at this one, with a slightly different line-up to last
year. Will let you know how we go. check out the NAVRUN website if you want to see what htey are all about!
24.2.09 - As
most people know the last few weeks has been very hectic in Victoria,
with bushfires affecting paople far and wide. We hope everyone
affected is ok, and our deepest condolences to those who have lost
loved ones. Due to the fires affecting our own properties and friends
we have
been unable to get much 4wding in, and will probably be like that for a
while, as alot of bush is still unsafe to travel into. Aslo the
2009
pajero challenge has been cancelled, this is due to fires in the area
etc. So we will have to wait till 2010 to make out debut! Stay safe
everyone!
6.1.09 - Well
2008 was a big year for the B.R.O team, with numerous navrun wins and
plenty of weekend trips had. Hopefully 2009 will follow along
the same
lines. Navruns are a plenty this year and we are also entering the
Pajero Challenge this year too.
Also Simmo has a new car, the Pajie is up

in the Disco came 2nd for the comp which was a great result and also
secured them the overall win for the Navrun After
Dark series! Pete and Andrew in the dosed up zook came a respectful 10th, which was a great result for there first event.
All in all it
was a tough event with 12 hours straight of driving and navigating some
of the hardest tracks in the walhalla area. Results for the navrun's can be found on the navrun website.

Boys came 3rd in this navigational event and
sustained only minimal damage to the disco. Check out the mudrhino

28.08.08 - Some
of the B.R.O boys decided to have a long weekend last weekend and

snow was
found which made things very interesting at times. A few challenging

uni,
dented quarter panel, broken engine mount, broken tail light and a few
